The Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun, has appointed Assistant Inspector General of Police, AIG Adebola Ayinde Hamzat, as the commander of Zone 16 Command of the Nigerian Police with headquarters in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.
Henzodaily reports that this was made known in a statement on Tuesday by the Zonal Police Public Relations Officer, SP Emonena Gunn.
Gunn stated that the Hamzat’s appointment followed the retirement of the erstwhile AIG Paul Alifa Omata.
