The Centre for Integrated Health Programs (CHIP) has launched AP3 Baby Shower in an engagement with faith communities as part of efforts to improve outcomes for mothers and babies.
It is also meant to reduce or prevent mother to child transmission of HIV.
The one day engagement also featured health education , syphilis, malaria and HIV test and also high blood pressure check.
Some of the participants who spoke commended CHIP for such an initiative which they described as apt.
