Popular Afrobeat musician, Seun Kuti, has slammed the convener of Bring Back Our Girls Movement, Aisha Yesufu, over her advocacy for women’s liberation.
Kuti blasted the activist while recounting how he disagreed with her stance on women’s freedom during a TV show.
Condemning Yesufu for advocating for the liberation of Nigerian women while putting on Hijab, the musician argued that embracing Islamic or Christian practices leads to abandoning African identity.
