The Nigeria Police Force has distanced itself from the unauthorised use of its uniform and insignia by social media influencer, Martins Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan.
The police said it has launched a full investigation to determine the source of the uniform and insignia VeryDarkMan wore in one of his videos.
In the said video, the influencer was seen donning a full police regalia with accoutrements while describing himself as social media police and not an activist.
