A WOMAN has been killed after a car mounted the pavement and hit her – just months after scooping the Postcode Lottery prize.
Anna-Maria Stevens, 52, and her 23-year-old daughter were on foot when they were hit by a car in Essex on Thursday afternoon.
The pair were rushed to hospital where Anna-Maria was pronounced dead.
Her daughter’s injuries are believed to be non life threatening.
