A SWARM of drones varying in “size and configuration” was seen flying over a £40m RAF airbase that is set to house American nuclear weapons.
The US Air Force confirmed the drones were spotted above RAF Lakenheath in Suffolk – where a fleet of American F-35s and F-15s are put on standby in case of any major escalation.
