Fulham Boss Lavishes Praise On ‘Happy Boy’ Iwobi

Fulham manager Marco Silva has once again heaped plaudits on Alex Iwobi and labelled him a “happy boy”.

Iwobi has been one of the top performers for the Cottagers in the Premier League this season.

The Nigeria international has scored three goals and registered three assists in 13 league appearances for Marco Silva’s side.

The 28-year-old put up an impressive display in Fulham’s 1-1 away draw against Tottenham Hotspur last weekend.

Ahead of his side’s home clash with Brighton & Hove Albion on Thursday (today), Silva believed the NigerIan have the ability to become a top player.

“I call him (Iwobi) a happy boy. When you are in a happy place, when you are so positive and people around you are positive, I think good things will come to you,” Silva said ahead of the game.

” You never see him panic in any moment of the game. He is going to be a top confidence player.”
