‘Mr President Has Come Through Me To Fulfill His Promise’

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has likened governance to a covenant, emphasizing that politicians must deliver on the campaign promises made to the electorate.

Speaking at a public event on Wednesday in Abuja, Wike stressed the importance of accountability in governance, adding that President Bola Tinubu is demonstrating this commitment through the actions of his administration in the FCT.

Wike disclosed this while inaugurating the construction of the Kabusa Ketti Access road in Abuja on Wednesday.

“This time around we will send people who will listen. Politics no be grammar… Make una no dey follow people wey dey speak grammar. You don see who grammar help?

“We will send people who will come back to you and say this is what you sent me to do and this is what I have brought.”

In a related development, Wike told residents of the nation’s capital city and its environs that President Tinubu sent him and his team to address their challenges.

Wike highlighted that the funding for the project is assured and reassured the community that this initiative will not experience the common issue of abandonment seen in previous projects.

He stated that financial resources for the project are not a concern, emphasizing that the current administration is committed to undertaking projects that will not be left incomplete.
