The New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) has achieved a comprehensive victory in the recently concluded local government elections across Kano State, winning all chairmanship and councillorship seats in each of the 44 local government areas.
Henzodaily reports that Sani Malumfashi, Chairman of the Kano Independent Electoral Commission (KANSIEC), announced the results at the commission’s headquarters, declaring NNPP the winner in all contested areas.
