The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edo State has accused Governor Godwin Obaseki of laying bobby traps for the incoming administration of Monday Okpebholo with the recruitment of 4000 teachers.
Henzodaily reports that a member of the APC Transition Committee, Prince Kassim Afegbua, made the accusation on Sunday in a statement made available to newsmen in Benin City.
Afegbua argued that the employment of 4,000 teachers by the outgoing governor was done in bad faith.
He alleged that the recruitment was an attempt to overload the system for the incoming government.
