CELTIC were wrongly denied a penalty during last weekend’s win over Motherwell, the SFA’S independent VAR panel has ruled.
Four of the five panel members – drawn from different areas of the game – decided that the Hoops were on the wrong end of a dreaded ‘double red’ decision when Maeda and Stephen O’Donnell tangled in the box as Celtic led 1-0 through Luke McCowan.
